It sure doesn't look like spring is near when I look out my window and see 3 feet of snow on the ground, but I have to keep reassuring myself that the birds and the bees will fly once again.

Here are a few signs that spring is around the corner:

- The Boston Red Sox played their first spring training game today, beating Boston College 7-1. They grab the gloves and bats for a round with the Minnesota Twins later this evening.
