What an amazing day! The weather was perfect with highs in the 70's, full sun and a slight breeze to keep the bugs away! We were all happy with the results! All counted for, I believe there were well over 30 in attendance! We got started early and made it to Tumbledown Pond (or Crater Lake) by 10:30am. Some of the party stayed at the pond and lounged around, basking in the sun or nursing their wounds! Others ventured out behind the pond, up to the summit or sneaking away to secret hideaways! Some even braved the figid waters of Tumbledown Pond! At 12:10, we had a moment of silence in honor of Chris, followed by the spreading of his ashes. After the ceremony, most found their way accross the Parker Ridge Trail and down the East side of the mountain. Some remained to catch the rays before the clouds rolled in. Have a look below!
